Series books

The next series I want to start:
(I know, everyone loves this book. Don't. Say. Anything. I HATE spoilers. And I hate getting my expectations too high.)

Series books I've read recently:

The second in the series. Even though it's written by my cousin, I'm not showing bias when I say it's a really good book!

So this is the 10th in the series. But even though it's been awhile since I've read about this Mma, I was able to pick it up easily. This series is definitely a to-read for everyone. Not only are the mysteries interesting and fun, but the short lessons on life are practical and full of wisdom.

So good! If you haven't read the first three in this series, where have you been?!!!

Where the Wind Sings

My cousin wrote this book and I think it is fabulous!

Abandoned as a small child, seventeen-year-old Brannon Reeves has lived and worked with her aunt, Lila, tucked away from the modern world in a forest cottage. But an attractive stranger, an accusing news story, and the discovery of a long-kept family secret shatter her simple life overnight. Thrust into a world of betrayal and persecution, she must face an enemy she never knew existed. Will she suffer the same fate as her mother? Can hope, courage, and love conquer evil?

Book for March

Ok… when Ruth asked me if I would like to choose a book for March, I was supper honored and I thought of 15 different books that I had enjoyed reading. When I had to narrow it down, I could not decide between a classic, a novel or a history fiction. So, based on the books read previously on this blog, I decided to go with a fun read book that makes you think a little and makes you feel good by the time you are done. I hope you all enjoy this as I did. The book is Street Lawyer, by John Grisham. It is an older book and if most of you have already read this or prefer another type of book, let me know and I will choose another book. Have fun reading….

James Patterson

Right now I am reading, and into, James Patterson books. I am reading his series with detective Alex Cross. He wrote the books that are now movies "Along Came a Spider" and "Kiss the Girls." They are such good books. They are about these crazy serial killers. Each book has a new killer that always competes with detective Cross. Anyways I just wanted everyone to know about them because I like them a lot. I had to be introduced to them through someone I know and now I am hooked . The series is 13 books long and each of them are 400 pages or more so it is a lot of reading but I can usually read one in like five hours because there is so much suspense it goes really fast.

Book for November

The No.1 Ladies' Detective Agency by Alexander McCall Smith

This is the first of a series of 8 books. The last one just came out in April 2007. One of my friends says she loves these books. I've never read them, but they have been international best sellers. You can find them for pretty cheap on Amazon. They're probably at your local library as well.

This book is available in paperback, has 256 pages, and is published by Abacus.
