Books Books Books!: Book for April

When it's your turn to choose the book of the month:

1. Choose a book (it can be one you've never read before) for the upcoming month. For now I would prefer that we not read any religious books since there are club members from various faiths/beliefs. I don't feel that a blog post or comment would be an appropriate place to have a religious discussion. Thanks.
2. Create a post here a few days before the 1st of the upcoming month.
3. Towards the end of the month, when people have hopefully started to read the book, please start a discussion about the book by creating a new post. You can include your thoughts, questions club members can answer, or whatever you feel is appropriate.

**Also, I just wanted to say thank you to all of you for participating in this club. It has been fun to keep in touch with you and share good books at the same time!

Book for April

Alright you closet Jane Austen fans, this is the book for you (and also the book I've chosen for April). It is called Austenland by Shannon Hall. A fun book that reflects a little bit of each of us. It's short and not too deep so it will allow you time to read other books of your choosing as well. Happy reading and we'll talk in April.

I have some friends that have been reading a fanfic about Mr. Darcy. Have you read any "sequels" to P&P? There are so many, I'm not sure which ones to choose. Plus, I can't imagine I'll like them as much as I do P&P.
