Book for April

Alright you closet Jane Austen fans, this is the book for you (and also the book I've chosen for April). It is called Austenland by Shannon Hall. A fun book that reflects a little bit of each of us. It's short and not too deep so it will allow you time to read other books of your choosing as well. Happy reading and we'll talk in April.

Great Melinda! I look forward to reading it. You know I always love the ones you recommend anyway. :)

I have some friends that have been reading a fanfic about Mr. Darcy. Have you read any "sequels" to P&P? There are so many, I'm not sure which ones to choose. Plus, I can't imagine I'll like them as much as I do P&P.

Also, I've been thinking about reading a biography on Jane Austen. Have you read one?

I'm so excited! My friend recommended that I read this book, so I was planning on it anyway.

Never read any of the "sequels". I bet they're interesting. I haven't read any biographies on Jane but you know me and wikipedia. That gives you some good background info.

Ruth, can I join the book club? Thanks for your e-mail. I finished Austenland a few months ago so I'll join in on the next book. I ended up reading ALL of her books because they were so cute and an easy read.

Okay, I know it's not time to discuss this book yet, but I just finished it and am soooooo excited about it that I just had to say something! I LOVED it!! I feel like my heart is going to burst out of my chest! I am such a romantic and Jane Austen fan (that probably goes without saying) so I completely engulfed this book! I'll probably read it again and again and again...
