When it's your turn to choose the book of the month:
1.Choose a book (it can be one you've never read before) for the upcoming month. For now I would prefer that we not read any religious books since there are club members from various faiths/beliefs. I don't feel that a blog post or comment would be an appropriate place to have a religious discussion. Thanks. 2. Create a post here a few days before the 1st of the upcoming month. 3. Towards the end of the month, when people have hopefully started to read the book, please start a discussion about the book by creating a new post. You can include your thoughts, questions club members can answer, or whatever you feel is appropriate.
**Also, I just wanted to say thank you to all of you for participating in this club. It has been fun to keep in touch with you and share good books at the same time!
Everyone is welcome here! Just leave a comment with your email address and who you are. Alternatively, you can send me an email and I'll be happy to invite you to be an author on the blog. All I ask is that we keep the language clean and be respectful of each other's suggestions/thoughts/feelings. Thanks!!!
anyone want to volunteer to choose a book for the month? Leave a comment here or just email me!

Several years ago I read the book "The Colony" by John Tayman...a true account of the Molokai exiles in the Leper Colony. I loved this book and would LOVE to read it again. www.johntayman.com/letters
Great. Thanks Mary. That sounds very interesting! Why don't you be in charge of the post this month. Just look on the side of the blog to see what to do. Thanks again!

This is a fun way to keep track of books you've read and books to read in the future. It's fun to see what your friends have read and what they think about them too!
