Questions for Eragon

Just a few easy questions.

What was your favorite part of the book?
Would you read the next books in the series?
What do you think about the author being so young when he wrote it?

Hope you enjoyed it.

I loved this book! I just finished it a couple days ago & already picked up the second book today at the library.

First, I have to say that I didn't really like it at the beginning. But once I got about 70 pages into it, I was hooked.

There were many parts of the book that I liked. I really liked how there was so much action throughout the entire book, not just at the end. I also loved the part when Eragon was trying to name Saphira and finally figures out she's a female. I like how Eragon and Saphira can communicate through their minds and even become as one mind at times.

Of course I'll read the rest of the series! I'll be starting the second book tonight!

I am very impressed that the author was so young when he wrote it. I like how he had Eragon's future read because it gives us somethings to look forward to in the following books (like the deep romance & a family member betraying him). At times, it reminded me of The Lord of the Rings series. But I think the author did a good job in creating his own world without "stealing" too much from Tolkien.

Can't wait to hear what you all have to say about it. I know that Shauna, Darla, and Melinda have read it. Anyone else?

I really liked the book as well. I think my favorite part was after Brom's death when Saphira changes the grave to diamond.

I'm not sure I'll read the rest of the series. I'd like to know what happens, but I am often disappointed by second books in series. If others of you have read it, please let me know if it's worth my while.

I was amazed that someone so young could come up with such an intricate and interesting story.

I would recommend the second book as well. He actually matures in his writing quite a bit and I found that it was maybe even slightly better then the first book.

I loved this book too. I am amazed that he was so young when he wrote it. I too recommend the second book. I think it's really well done. I don't recommend the movie though. Big disappointment when compared with the book. Good choice!

My favorite part was when Eragon killed the Sorcerer, I didn't think he would kill him and so when he did that was pretty sweet

I would like to read the rest of the series, but not sure that I will anytime soon, too many other books piled up.

I cannot believe a 17 year-old wrote this. I got the vibe that he has read Lord of the Rings a million times, but Eragon was still unique enough to keep my interest.

I have a lot of questions about the religions of the dwarves verses the elves, but I don't know where to ask them
